What is this "impediment" stuff?

1. Something that impedes; a hindrance or obstruction. Obstacle.
2. An organic defect preventing clear articulation: a speech impediment.
3. Law. Something that obstructs the making of a legal contract...."well if that isn't brainy I don't know what is."

Look here's the thing...I'm a Registered Nurse with 17 + years of experience in the following fields:

  • Psychiatry: like delusions, alcohol withdrawals, auditory hallucinations...you know the basic crack head on the "A" train heading for Harlem...type of a cat.
  • Medical: like myocardial infarctions, peptic ulcers, labor pains, asthma, death, stabbings, loosing consciousness, and other medical related stuff.
  • Rehabilitation: like strokes, comas (freebee on the coma...just sleep) speech, fractures and other rehab stuff.

And I'm a William Esper grad. Meaning I'm an actor and I talk "actor"

So, you put those two together and this is what you got...

It's like you get a role that your character gets stabbed and beaten...how do you play that out, or if your character has a stroke...how do you play that out.

I keep it short and sweet and to the point, I mean if you what to know the whhhhooooollllllleee anatotmy and physiology and the symptomology of the "Who, What, and Why" of it all...great knock yourself out...by all means pull a cerbral hemmorhoid.

That would be doing the work, the research of the illness, and how a character is feeling...yeah, hats off to ya. But, have you seen it with your own eyes? Can you fool the viewer? (aka Audience)
